FAQs
What is a Cut & Polish?
A cut and polish involves a full decontamination and machine polish to bring your paint back to life. We start with a proper wash, including snow foam, hand wash, and a clay bar treatment to remove any deep grime or contaminants. Once the surface is clean, we machine cut the paint to remove light scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation, then follow it up with a polish to bring out the gloss. It’s all sealed off with a wax or sealant to protect the finish and keep it looking sharp. It won’t fix deep scratches, but it’ll make the paint look heaps cleaner, glossier, and smoother overall.

Do I need to drop the car off or do you come to me?
We can do both! You can drop off at our workspace or we can come to you, as long as theres access to power and water for mobile jobs. Let us know what works best for you!
⸻
Will Cut & Polish remove all scratches?
It’ll get rid of light swirls and surface-level scratches, but deep ones may still be visible. We’ll let you know what’s realistic once we inspect the paint. We don’t do full paint jobs or resprays, but our cut and polish service can still make a big difference especially if the paint isn’t completely gone.

How long does a detail take?
Depending on the package and the condition of the car. A standard clean can take 1.5–2 hours, while a full detail or cut & polish can take 4–6+ hours.
